We are a primary care clinic located in Chitose City, the gateway to Hokkaido.

We mainly handle prescriptions for general emergencies (injuries, burns, treatment of chronic illnesses).
We work closely with the government to support your stay in Japan.

When you visit our clinic, you probably have some kind of health problem. You may be anxious about visiting a medical facility in a foreign country where you do not speak the language.
At our clinic, automatic translation software installed on PC tablets enables communication in multiple languages.

We have a clear fee structure for medical treatment and examinations.

As a primary care specialist, we welcome international travelers with hospitality.

Our feature

This clinic offers “General Medicine” that enables us to make comprehensive judgment on your illness on your first visit for consultation.
Please be advised that consultation at General Medicine is available if you are unsure which Hospital or department to consult.
After this initial consultation you will be introduced to a specific hospital for a further examination.(i.e Tokusyukai General hospital in Sapporo.)

From Registration to Returning Home (general flow)

Before visiting, at home

1. Please fill out the “E-Registration Form and questionnaire” (registration form from website from your application) at home. Please make sure of all the information.

At the Clinic

Note: outpatient fever Clinic

People with fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or other symptoms of a cold or infection should go directly into the outpatient fever clinic in the parking lot, not the central entrance.

1. We ask all patients visiting for the first time to submit a referral (patient referral document) issued by a physician from another medical institution (or a family doctor).We kindly ask for your understanding in advance.

2. When you consult a doctor , please always bring your “health insurance card” and “medical care certificate” if you have any.

3. Please also bring a referral (patient referral document) issued by your family doctor, as well as any X-ray data in a CD and/or film,if you are prepared.

4. When you are finished, please submit the “Passport”, “Health Insurance Card” and other certificates and “Referral” at the reception desk.

5. And please be seated and wait until be called.

6. When your name is called, please proceed to the yellow bench in front of the consultation room.

Consultation

1. When your name is called, please enter the consultation room.

2. When your consultation is completed, an accounting slip and prescription will be given to you. Please proceed to the cashier.

Cashier

We will accept a variety of payments by the automatic machine.
When you finish payment, an accounting ticket and receipt is issued.

About Prescription Drugs

In most cases, a prescription for medication will be issued by a dispensing pharmacy. Please pick up your medication at a dispensing pharmacy outside the clinic within 4 days (including the date of issue). We will fax the prescription to the dispensing pharmacy of your choice if it is in Japan.
